I was all set - I thought I had everything figured out. Then one small comment opened a door to a different path. Once I walked through it, I discovered a career that both utilizes my strengths and brings me deep satisfaction as I help others.
“Hey, you’re pretty good at this game. Have you ever thought about working in real estate?” The question hung in the air of the conference room where I had just finished a round of Cashflow with a group of nineteen others. I had just separated from the military as a service-disabled veteran not long before that to focus on my business, World Ventures. However, with that one comment, the wheels in my head started turning.
For 13 years of my life I served in the Air Force, nine of those on active duty. Ever since I was eight years old, I dreamt of becoming an Air Force pilot. Both of my parents and several of my aunts and uncles had served in different branches of the military, so there was never really any doubt in my mind about my commitment.
I joined the Air Force right after college as a commissioned officer, and I completed flight school in 2004. The whole experience was like drinking from an information firehose. In a classroom with many others, we were expected to absorb loads of information about flight theories, checklists and different planes, all before even seeing an aircraft in person. It was a very competitive environment, but my family’s encouragement and my dedication to my dream kept me going. I am so grateful that I didn’t give up and earned my wings as a navigator.
Getting my wings was the beginning of a long military career, which eventually led me to the very business I left to pursue. In 2008, I discovered network marketing in the military and established my first business rather quickly. I always knew real estate was a great industry to work in (friends had suggested it before), and not long after that conversation mentioned above, I dove into wholesale real estate investing. It was tough, but I stuck with it and eventually discovered what I love most about the whole industry – being an agent.
Through my time in the military, I learned the value of discipline and hard work. When I commit to something, I follow through. While maintaining my wholesale business, I threw myself into real estate and family life. I moved to Las Vegas to be with my wife, Shequita, and begin our life together with her daughter, Tiana.
Starting a new career was not easy, but I kept at it. Within a couple of years, I experienced success as I discovered my passion as an agent. I enjoyed the personal connections I developed with individual clients versus working in wholesale. As an agent, I was able to have a bigger impact on each person’s life with the service I performed. I still have a title within my first business, but real estate is my career, and my family is my life.
In looking back on how my career changed directions, I realized that sometimes the smallest moments, a single comment, can have the biggest impact. I love what I do, serving others in this new way. Homes are so much more than the houses that make them - they are deeply personal parts of our lives and can be one of our greatest assets.
I have been in the real estate industry since 2016 and a licensed agent since 2019. When I am not working, I enjoy playing basketball with my stepdaughter, hiking, snowboarding, and doing CrossFit. My favorite part of being a REALTOR® is helping someone find what they really want and then helping them get it.

As a service-disabled veteran, I bring a level of military professionalism, attention to detail and discipline to everything I do. Once I understand your needs, I will do everything possible to help you reach your goals, no matter how long it takes. I have extensive experience with investment and residential real estate, as well as VA loans. Challenges do not intimidate me; I enjoy helping my clients achieve the impossible through my dedication to them and their goals as a REALTOR®. What matters most to me is ensuring you have the best real estate experience and results possible, which is why I strive to bring the highest level of customer service to every transaction. Once this first transaction is over, I will continue to be there for you whenever you need me as your lifelong REALTOR®.
